TokyoFAM is a collective of creatives in Tokyo, representing voices from the Fashion, Art, and Music industries. Founded in 2017, TokyoFAM became a platform and a resource for the Tokyo community to interact with each other. Bringing together influential people in the biggest city in the world, TokyoFAM stitches together the “scene” that has been missing in Tokyo. Curating visual artists ToykoFAM introduces a new following to the many galleries and art styles of Tokyo, allowing art to be conversation piece bringing people together. Working with clothing brands, TokyoFAM helps Tokyo embrace its role as the fashion capital of the world. Showcasing influential names in music and art as fashion icons in shoots and fashion shows, TokyoFAM introduces everyone to new audiences. Moving away from the clubs and music halls where shows often take place, TokyoFAM provides intimate performances from the emerging artist of the thriving Tokyo music scene.
In October 2017 the first TokyoFAM event was held in Asakusa. Featuring a fashion show from the popular streetwear brand Stadium03, Sculptor Tskui Sugiyama and performances from Killa Blaise.
During the inaugural event TokyoFAM took over the four story building known as Factory and transformed it into a versatile space with art on every floor with a fashion show up and down the stairs
Following the success of multiple events, the collective evolved into a cultural event curated it’s original founder and pop culture expert Owen Rogers. Showcasing contemporary arts and coolest creatives in Tokyo, this event will allows guests to see all spans of fashion, art, and music in one place. Influencers and artists from all over the city flocked to this one of kind event to enjoy what has come to be a trademark night of surprises and connections.
